Metroid Prime Cut Arm Cannon

I recreated a piece of unused concept art from Metroid Prime 3. The version that made it into the final game was quite different but more in line with the first two games. This cut version has the panels completely coming off, exposing the interior workings of the gun, and the panels reforming to make interesting shapes. My original plan was to also build a temple environment to go with it, but the birth of my daughter made me cut the project short. I made a fully playable character controller with movement, double jump, dash, beam swapping and missiles. Everything was done by myself using Maya, Substance Painter and Designer, Affinity Photo and Designer, and the Unity Engine.
